JFAAP’s Butterfly lights up TTC’s Presto meeting

2018-12-11 – The TTC held an ‘Information Session’ about the new Presto fare system.

Only about 100 people turned out tho the hastily called meeting out of a 2.732 million city population. Most heard about it through advocacy groups like TTC Riders and JFAAP. Most people had a lot of complaints about how the system was created, financed and works.

Clearly, the TTC officials were not there to listen and adapt the system. They just explained what and how it works.

Over a dozen residents of Jane and Finch traveled for over two hours to attended to back up our Butterfly who was outstanding in her description of the damage that Presto is doing in our community.

She was interviewed by a number of news outlets after.
